Dordrien Crypts Drow Ambush
Somewhat groggy from their interrupted rest, the Mothers took in the scene quickly. Gaspode stood toe to toe with the flayed drow creature; its caustic blood burning holes in the half elfs clothing. Two of the other three drow were closing to attack, as was another of those undead spiders. Gaspode and Kurtalla were hit again before they managed to land blows on the oozing drow. Siosiann meanwhile stepped forward and unleashed a lightning bolt at the approaching enemies. This dispatched the spider and one drow, injuring the others. The drow mage at the rear responded with another carefully aimed lightning bolt hitting most of the party. Fonesca, Obrana and Siosiann responded with more spells while Gaspode suffered blows that would have seen him fall were it not for a well-timed Impish intervention. Obrana and Fonesca did drop unconscious before their foes were defeated, but a potion was enough to bring Obrana around and she was able to restore the others to a semblance of health before they decided to leave the caves to rest in a more secure location.
